Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:20 PM Sunday of a theft of motor vehicle parts in the block of 100 West Suffield Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a spare tire from a silver 2013 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The victim’s mechanic discover that the spare tire/wheel was removed from under the vehicle. Offender(s) cut the hoisting cable and removed the tire/wheel combo and hoisting cable.
The loss value is estimated to be $575.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday July 21, 2012 and Sunday July 21, 2013. There is no word if the theft could have occurred at a location other than the home address on Suffield Drive.
