Police Activity: Suspicious Incident at Ken’s Marathon Near Northwest Highway And Race Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 7:57 PM Saturday to a suspicious incident at Ken’s Marathon, 1706 West Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a person was missing, and circumstances at the scene raised concern that a violent crime or kidnapping could have occurred. Police investigated the scene and were able to locate the male that was believed to have been a possible victim. The male subject’s cell phone was tracked to a location out of state, and a police agency from the state was able to locate the male subject sometime after 11:00 p.m. Several police vehicles were in the area of Northwest Highway and Race Avenue.

The subject was found safe and unharmed. There is no further investigation by police regarding the incident.

Before the male subject was located, police also canvassed the area to determine if any residents or business people nearby noticed anything suspicious.
