Koobface: Facebook Virus Gets Trickier with Fake Flash Player

#ad▼

The latest version of the “Koobface” worm virus sends a imposter message from a Facebook friend asking you to click on a link to a video. If you click, you see a page with a photo of your friend and are asked to download a video player (pretending to be the latest Flash player by Adobe) to watch the video. Clicking on the link to the player actually clicks to a link that downloads a virus, which seeks out information on your computer. The virus then sends more replicated versions of the virus to all of your Facebook friends.
