Armed Robbery at Radio Shack on Touhy Ave, Niles

Niles police responded about 11:09 AM Tuesday to an armed robbery at Radio Shack, 5633 West Touhy Avenue Niles, IL. Police received a report that two male/black subjects robbed the Radio Shack.

One subject was wearing a checkered shirt. Both were wearing silver/gray type baseball hats and were described as about 25-years-old. Both were armed with handguns.

The offenders took US cash.

The offender was described as a male/white wearing a gray jacket with a black hoodie. The subject fled the scene carrying a blue plastic garbage bag with cash inside. He was last seen fleeing on foot northbound on Milwaukee Avenue from the intersection of Howard Street.

A earlier armed robbery occurred at the PNC Bank, 7601 Milwaukee Avenue by an offender described as a male/white wearing a gray jacket with a black hoodie at about 9:16 a.m.
