Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded Tuesday to a report of a man seriously injured in an industrial accident at M.S. International, 1441 Jarvis Avenue Elk Grove Village, IL. The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed that Oscar Pimentel, 47, died from “multiple crush injuries and falling heavy objects” at the manufacturing plant involving flooring, countertop, and landscaping products/facility.
OSHA investigators are investigating whether any violations of safety or health protocols contributed to the accident.
