Theft of Bird Feeders on East Clarendon Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:01 AM Sunday of a theft in the block of 600 East Clarendon Avenue in Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took several bird feeders and damaged several bird feeders. A decorative pole was pulled from the ground in the front yard.

A wood block bird feeder valued at $40 and a mesh bird feeder valued at $40 and other bird feeders were reported stolen.

A total of six plastic bird feeders were reported stolen with a total value of $300. The pole supporting the birdfeeders in the backyard was also stolen. The value of the pole is estimated at $150.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday June 8, 2013 at 10:00 p.m. and Sunday June 9, 2013 at 2:00 a.m. The homeowner may have heard the offenders at about 2:00 a.m.

Theft of bird feeders was also reported in the 400 block of East Marshall Street over the weekend or similar time frame (See The Cardinal Theft of Bird Feeders and Trellis on East Marshall Street, Arlington Heights).
