Evidence of the Emerald Ash Borer’s infestation can be seen throughout Arlington Heights. Please join the Village on Thursday, May 23, from 7-8 p.m .at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., for a brief informational meeting on the Emerald Ash Borer.

The informational session will include Scott Schirmer, Plant and Pesticide Specialist with the IL Department of Agriculture, will discuss new research and the possibility of preserving your neighborhood’s trees. Dru Sabatello, Arlington Heights Forester, will present an update on the status of EAB in Arlington Heights.

Topics covered include EAB basics, treatment options, the most current research, and Arlington Heights’ 50/50 Cost Share program. This is an informational presentation only, so please bring questions.
