Multiple Stab Wounds, 14 victims at Lone Star College’s CyFair campus in Cypress, Texas

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded at 11:12 a.m. to Lone Star Community College CyFair campus in Cypress, Texas to a report of a man running lose, stabbing people. Early reports are that one suspect has been detained by police after he was pursued and tackled by a civilian student. Only one suspect has been confirmed. The suspect is 21-years-old and is a student of the college.

The offender appeared to be a male/white student, wearing all black including a cap and appeared to have hearing aids, according to James. The suspect may have used an Exacto-knife to stab people.

At least four people were seen packaged and loaded on to medical transport helicopters. Fourteen people were injured. Two victims are in critical condition and four are in fair condition.

The scene involves a current, active and ongoing investigation, as of 2:20 p.m. CDT. The exact type weapon used has not been confirmed. Evidence is being processed.
