Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:42 AM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary in and apartment/condo parking lot in the block of 2600 North Windsor Drive Arlington Heights, IL. While patrolling the parking lot officers found a gold 2000 Cadillac Deville with the door slightly ajar. There were items of value in plain view and the glove box was open. It is unknown if anything was missing because the owner was not available to check his property. Another resident of the complex approached the officers to report unknown offender(s) entered her blue 2009 Dodge Journey (no signs of force) and removed a purse ($150). The purse contained a silver Guess wallet, credit/debit cards and IDs.
The crime is reported to have occurred between February 25, 2013 at 11:00 p.m. and February 26, 2013 at 8:30 a.m.
