Prostitution Arrest in an Apartment Unit on Tonne Drive

Arlington Heights police arrest at least one person for prostitution in the 2100 block of South Tonne at an apartment unit Friday afternoon.

During the past week, the FBI joined local law enforcement partners in a three-day national enforcement action as part of the Innocence Lost National Initiative. This operation, known as Operation Cross Country III, included enforcement operations in 29 cities across the country and led to the recovery of 48 children being prostituted domestically. Additionally, 571 criminals were arrested on a combination of state and federal charges for the domestic trafficking of children for prostitution and solicitation.

No children were involved in arrests in Illinois.

Illinois cities involved in the nationwide initiative were Alsip, Arlington Heights, Bensenville, Evanston, Glenview, Glenwood, Grayslake, Gurnee, Highland Park, Lombard, Melrose Park, Mount Prospect, Mundelein, Naperville, Oak Brook, Oak Lawn, Prospect Heights, Richton Park, Rosemont, Sauk Village, Skokie, Westmont and Willowbrook. County law officers were also involved: Cook County Sheriff, DuPage County Sheriff, and Lake County Sheriff.
