Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:32 PM Tuesday of a purse theft at Jewel-Osco, 1860 South Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an offender removed a red leather purse (valued at $100) from the shopping cart. The purse contained a blue leather wallet (valued at $50), house keys, social security card, driver’s license, credit/debit cards and approximately $150 cash.
The crime is reported to have occurred Tuesday February 12, 2013 between 1:12 p.m.-1:15 p.m.
The offender was described as a male/white wearing a blue, green, red and white striped hoodie and black pants. He was carrying a green skate board.
