Arlington Heights police responded about 11:33 PM Tuesday to two simultaneous crashes, but unrelated. One at Thomas Street and Ridge Avenue, and one on Ridge Avenue, just north of Dundee Road.. First police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a personal injury crash at Thomas Street and Ridge Avenue. Seconds later police received a report of car vs a pole.
At least one person was seen by paramedics at the Thomas Street and Ridge Avenue crash. Buffalo Grove police were first on the scene at the Ridge and Dundee location, and reported no injuries.
A Mercedes SX35 and a Volkswagen Touareg were towed away from the scene at Thomas Street and Ridge Avenue.
No word on what vehicle was crashed into a pole on Ridge Avenue, north of Dundee Road.
