  1. “to a car vs. median crash” Gee, think you could find a more sensitive way to relate the scene….I knew Shawna, she was my cousin’s best friend and her daughter’s Godmother. Wasn’t aware that her car and the median were in competition.

  2. Actually there are no true words to sensitively describe this crash scene. Very sorry for your loss, but you’re reading this wrong. The term is very commonly used when a vehicle hits a fixed object, such as a median wall, retaining wall, light pole, a utility pole, or a tree. Absolutely no disrespect meant describing this tragic loss of a human being, and a tragic loss for family and friends. Prayers and good people close to the victim, please focus on the victim and the victim’s family. While the rest of us, who are not personally connected to the victim, family and friends, are saddened by the death of a young person we didn’t know, and focus on safety issues and the reality and risks of every day life for the people close to us.
