Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:34 AM Monday to a truck fire in a rear lot of a business at 1801 Pratt boulevard Elk Grove Village, IL. Firefighter/paramedics reported a fully-involved truck cab fire upon arrival, and quickly extinguished the fire. The truck was parked up against the building. Firefighters initially attacked the cab fire, and then checked the interior of the trailer to make sure there was no extension. Firefighters also confirmed there was no communication to the adjacent building. Firefighters prepared to use saws to cut into the trailer, but got an all clear that the trailer was empty after they opened the trailer door.
