Schaumburg police received a report about 10:06 AM Sunday of criminal damage to vehicle/attempted vehicle burglary in a rear parking lot at Homewood Suites, 815 American Lane Schaumburg, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders tried to gain entry to a dark green Honda Odyssey. The rear bumper was removed.
