Elk Grove Village police arrested a DUI driver 1:30 AM Thursday after observing the driver pull out of a Motel 6 parking lot and head westbound in the eastbound lanes of Higgins Road at Oakton Street and Higgins Road Elk Grove Village, IL. Police activated their emergency lights and reported the driver of the pickup truck did not appear to be stopping as they passed Seegers at about 30 mph on westbound Oakton Street. The driver pulled into the fire station — blocking the front bay doors of Elk Grove Village Fire Department Station #3.
The driver was arrested DUI and may have been transported to Alexian Medical Center — not confirmed.
