Arlington Heights police responded about 2:09 PM Thursday to a residential burglary “in progress” at an apartment complex laundry room, 1115 East Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an offender was caught trying to break into a laundry room and a laundry room change receptacle.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, about 20-years-old, wearing a blue and green hooded sweatshirt with black pants and black shoes. He was also carrying a crowbar.
Police arrived on the scene within two minutes had one suspect detained within six minutes with the situation secure.
