Crash Blocks Eastbound Palatine Rd at Kenicott Ave During Morning Rush in Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:02 AM Monday to crash at Palatine Road and Kennicott Avenue. Police and firefighter/paramedics initially received a report of injuries, but police on the scene reported no injuries. Police did report smoking coming from one vehicle, and a fire engine was dispatched to the scene.

A white Hyundai and a silver Oldslmobile Alero were involved in the crash. Eastbound lanes of Palatine Road were entirely blocked for a while because of debris scattered across the road.

Crashes also occurred at Northwest Highway and Vail Avenue in Arlington Heights, and at Northwest Highway and First Bank in Palatine … developing …
