Person Cut by Bottle During Theft in Progress at Garden Liquors on Algonquin Rd, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police responded about 12:04 PM Monday theft in progress with a personal injury at Garden Liquors, 2202 East Algonquin Road. Police responded to a report of a theft in progress at the liquor store. Police reported that during a struggle a person was cut by a glass bottle. The scene was secured by the time paramedics arrived.

One person was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

A second ambulance was requested to the scene for a person feeling dizzy.

Arlington Heights police were requested to respond to the scene for Spanish language translation.

No word on whether the offender, a store employee, or some other person was the victim with the laceration.
