Update on Vehicle Burglary Case Changed To Criminal Damage To Vehicle On Foxdale, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:15 AM Saturday to a report of a vehicle burglary that just occurred in the 400 block of Foxdale Lane — Foxdale Lane and Walnut Avenue. Police received a report that two subjects were going through vehicles on Walnut Avenue. Police were updated that the subjects broke the window of a blue Honda Civic.

The offenders through a grapefruit-size rock through the driver side window of the blue Honda Civic. Prior to smashing the Honda Civic window, the offenders pushed over a large planter, but did not damage the planter.

The subjects were described as two male/white teens — about 15-years-old. One subject was wearing a short sleeve light gray or colored T-shirt, and the other subject was wearing a zip hoodie with a design, and white pants.

Several police units were searching the area. Police changed the case classification to criminal damage to vehicle.
