Starts as Noise Complaint, Then Gun Threat: One Woman Tasered at Apartment on West Miner St, Arlington Heights

#ad▼

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:08 PM Friday of a noise complaint at 215 West Miner Street. Police received a report of loud music on the third floor of a senior residential building. After the noise complaint, police returned because a personal alarm was activated in a residential unit.

Apparently the resident in the unit was yelling at 9-1-1 dispatchers and refused to open the door for police. Firefighters were called for force entry.

About 9:34 p.m. police reported that a taser was deployed for an uncooperative resident who claim she had a gun. An ET and a supervisor were called to the scene.

Police went with firefighter/paramedics, who transported a female in her 40’s to Northwest Community Hospital.
