Theft of Coach Wallet from Purse at Goodwill Store on West Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report of a wallet out of a purse at the Goodwill Store, 900 West Alqonquin Road. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed a wallet from a purse which was kept in a shopping cart while the victim was shopping. The Coach wallet stolen contained several credit/debit cards, cash, an uncashed check, gift cards, and a driver’s license. The offenders attempted to make purchases at seven stores or a restaurant (Walmart, Staples, Meijer, Portillo’s, Macy’s and Hertz) in Rolling Meadows and Schaumburg with only three being accepted.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, September 21, 2012 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
