Update Purse Theft at Dunkin’ Donuts on South Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:35 PM Sunday of a theft of a purse at Dunkin’ Donuts, 2106 South Arlington Heights Road. police received a report that a purse was stolen at Dunkin’ Donuts. The crime is reported to have occurred sometime earlier Sunday.

An unknown offender or offenders removed a black leather purse (14 inches by 6 inches, top zipper, long shoulder strap) containing approximately $200 cash, credit/debit cards, a driver’s license, and keys. The 72-year-old female owner of the purse accidentally left the purse at the counter, and returned to Dunkin’ Donuts to discover the items were gone. There were no unauthorized charges reported at the time of the police report. The purse was valued at $75.
