Suspicious Incident/Attempted Burglary on Lafayette Street, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 5:33 AM Thursday suspicious incident/attempted burglary in the 2300 block of Lafayette Street. Police received a report that an unknown man was sliding open a basement door. The man left the area and described as wearing all black and walking northbound from the residence. The homeowner followed the subject. No word on any contact with the suspect, or any word on an arrest or charges.
