Residential Burglary Reported At Metro Loft Condomium Building on South Dunton Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 8:25 PM Thursday to a residential burglary that ‘just occurred’ at 10 South Dunton Avenue. Police received a report of a possible burglary and an attempted burglary that may have occurred. A woman reported she may have been “robbed” and a man reported he found a screw driver that may have been used to attempt to gain entry to an apartment door.

Police searched the building and guarded exterior doors after learning that the offender might still be in the building.

Police cleared the building within an hour. No word on a call for an evidence technician. A maintenance vehicle was parked nearby.
