Nine Flat Screen TVs Gone: Former Boston Blackie’s, Vacant Restaurant Burglarized on East Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:30 AM Monday of a commercial burglary at the former Boston Blackies restaurant, 222 East Algonquin Road. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders appeared to have climbed onto the roof and entered the building through an unlocked roof hatch. The offender(s) removed nine wall-mounted flat screen TVs with an unknown value. A heating lamp, cable Internet router box and some patio furniture was also reported missing.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, August 31, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. and Monday, September 10 at 9:30 a.m.

  1. For many many months they had a security guy there 24/7. Just recently i’ve noticed his car wasn’t parked there anymore. I guess the thieves figured this out too.
