Purse Theft from Shopping Cart at Salvation Army Store on Rand Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report of a purse theft on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Salvation Army store, 250 West Rand Road.

Police received a report that an 80-year-old old Rolling Meadows resident was the victim of the purse theft crime. An unknown offender or offenders removed her purse from a shopping cart. The purse was hidden under some of the clothes she intended to purchase.

Reported missing is a black purse ($50 value), brown wallet ($50 value), driver’s license, credit/debit cards, Lexus vehicle title, and $150 cash.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, September 1, 2012 between 4:20 p.m.-5:09 p.m.
