Bike Theft Reported on South McKinley Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 5:58 PM Thursday of a bike theft that just occurred in the 700 block of South McKinley Avenue. Police received a report that a bike was stolen from a garage about five minutes prior. The offenders were described as two male/white teens about 15-years-old — one wearing a baseball cap. A neighbor tackled one of the offenders, but the offenders got away with the bike. The bike was described as a green Raleigh bike with a baby seat mounted on the frame. The offenders were last seen headed northbound on McKinley Avenue.
