Towed Car Starts on Fire on Westbound I-90 Near Roselle Rd, Schaumburg

Schaumburg firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police responded about 10:34:37 AM Wednesday to a report of a vehicle on fire on westbound Interstate 90 near Roselle Road. Firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle that was being towed started on fire.

There were conflicting reports that there might have been a crash, but the tow truck pulled over to the westbound exit, just east of Roselle Road when the vehicle was discovered on fire. Several passers by stopped to help.

Schaumburg firefighters finished extinguishing the vehicle fire and worked on overhaul and cleanup at the scene
