Palatine police responded about 1:00 a.m. Saturday to a report of a vehicle burglary in progress in the 1300 block of North Winslowe Drive. Police received a report that a man was chasing two males in their teens, age 16 or 17.

Four offenders were seen near the vehicle — with possibly two offenders in the victim’s vehicle. One offender was described as a male/white 6’0″ with a lot of tattoos and wearing sandals. The second subject was described only as a male/Hispanic. One subject was wearing green and white striped shirt, and another subject was wearing a gray shirt and shorts with a white baseball cap.

The offenders may have burglarized three cars in the area. The cars may have been unlocked.

About 1:34 a.m. Saturday police were in a foot pursuit and had at least one suspect in custody near Olde Virginia Road and Cottonwood Way — just southeast of Cardinal Drive.
