TMZ points out that Edward Furlong was definitely not in a clear state of mind to be driving.
Do you give the guy the keys to his car, or do you make the guy call a cab?
No reports of any DUI arrest for Edward Furlong, and there was no confirmation that Furlong was intoxicated.
Compare the incident to the Diamond’s Gentlemen’s Club incident in January 2006 when John Homatas and John Chiariello left Diamond’s after employees put Homatas in the driver’s seat of his car immediately after he was found vomiting in the strip club’s bathroom. About 15 minutes later Homatas car crashed head-on into an SUV driven by April Simmons. The crash killed Homatas’ passenger John Chiariello, and the SUV driver April Simmons, and her unborn child.
