Arlington Heights police received a report of criminal damage to vehicle in the 1700 block of Dover Lane. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders shattered the front driver side window of a black 2008 Honda CR-V LX vehicle, and poured what may have been paint thinner on the vehicle. There have been similar incidents at this location. In 2010, the victim’s vehicle had possible paint thinner poured on a different vehicle.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday May 29, 2012 between 5:00pm-10:50pm.
