DUI Crash Wyndham Cove Ln: Car vs. AT&T Box, 7-ELEVEN Sign & Townhouse Near Meacham Rd & Old Schaumburg Rd

Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:29 a.m. Saturday to a report of a car crashed into a house near Meacham and Old Schaumburg Road on Wyndham Cove Lane. Police arrived first and found a car that crashed through a 7-ELEVEN sign and continued on to a house townhouse/condo Wyndham Cove Lane in the 1400 block. The crash also took out a small AT&T box — no word yet if there are any large phone outages in the area.

The house was boarded up and the Village of Schaumburg Building Department cleared the building of any hazards.

the driver was arrested DUI and transported to Schaumburg Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s vehicle was towed to a police holding area.
