Arlington Heights police responded about 9:44 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a traffic altercation at Vail Avenue and Northwest Highway. Police received a report that one person was struck in the face, and some type of threat was involved (like “I’m going to kill you”). One offender left in a white van, and was last seen northbound on Walnut Avenue.
One person in a silver Toyota 4Runner waited for police near Euclid Avenue and Ridge Avenue. Arlington Heights police were investigating the van.
