One Car Derailed on CTA Chicago ‘L’ on Roosevelt Rd Near State St, Chicago

A Chicago ‘L’ train derailed about 11:25 a.m. Sunday at 22 East Roosevelt Road. The car is reported to have about 40 people on board. No injuries were reported, but and EMS Plan 1 has been called as standard operating procedure for train incidents. Firefighters are were on the scene working on an evacuation plan for the passengers on board.

Green and Orange Line trains are experiencing delays due to the incident near Roosevelt road and State Street.
