Man Shot on Wacker Drive Between State and Wabash, Chicago

Chicago police responded about 12:40 a.m. Friday August 17, 2018 to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and 30 East Wacker Drive after they received a report that a gunshot victim drove himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital after being shot on Wacker Drive.

Police are investigating what led to the shooting, only releasing information that a 34-year-old man was shot in the abdomen near 30 East Wacker Drive, between State Street and Wabash Avenue.

A man was also shot in the abdomen about 20 minutes later near Cityfront Plaza in the block of 200 East Illinois Street less than one mile away and about 2,000 feet northeast as the crow flies.
