Serious Vehicle vs. Bicycle Crash Southbound Rand Rd Near Hicks Rd, Palatine

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:06 p.m. Saturday to a vehicle vs. bicyclist crash at 2070 North rand Road. Police called for firefighter/paramedics to expedite to the scene. An accident investigator was also called to the scene.

Plan for alternative traffic plans, as southbound Rand Road is blocked at Hicks Road.

Palatine firefighter/paramedics transported the victim to Level I Trauma Center Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
