Debris or Object from Truck Flies Through Windshield, Injures Motorist on Route 53 Near Palatine Rd

Palatine firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police responded about 4:35 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a motorist injured after an object flew through the windshield of a vehicle on northbound Route 53, just north of Palatine Road. The driver was able to bring the vehicle to a stop in the left shoulder of northbound Route 53.

Paramedics treated a male victim. No word available on whether the man was transported to a local hospital.
