Arlington Heights police responded about 12:41 p.m. Friday to a report of shots fired in the area of 0-99 block of North Rammer Avenue. Police arrived immediately and got to work on investigating where the shots were heard and where the guns were fired.

A neighbor heard five shots, and then another shot just before 12:40 p.m. Friday and called 9-1-1. Police did a walk-around at the house and found at least one hole that looked like a bullet hole in a garbage can.

Two teens were found to be inside the home, and came to the door when requested by police. The teens were identified as Paul Padlo, 18, a resident at the house, and another teen [name, record expunged in Cook County Court], age 19, also of Arlington Heights.

Police found ammunition, bullet holes and weapons in the home and learned that the teens were firing shots at a garbage can outside the home, according to Assistant State’s Attorney Katherine Levine’s statement in Cook County bond court in Rolling Meadows Saturday.
