Mount Prospect police received a report about 6:35 p.m. Monday that a shoplifter was detained at Jewel/Osco, 333 East Euclid Avenue. Police received a report that the shoplifter was suspected of removing or attempting to remove about $80 worth of merchandise. The female/adult suspect was reported to be cooperative while detained.
