Strong Arm Robbery on East Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 5:08 p.m. Monday to a report of a strong arm robbery near an apartment complex at 1111 East Algonquin Road. Police arrived on the scene within a minute. Police received a report that the offender punched the victim in the face and took his cell phone. The crime is reported to have occurred about 4:40 p.m. Monday.

The offender was described as male/Hispanic, about 30-years-old, 5’4″ wearing black hat, a white shirt and purple and/or checkered shorts. He was reported to have fled the area eastbound on a bicycle.
