Arrested: Hit-and-Run Driver Crashes, Then Gets Out and Kicks Victim’s Car at Arlington Heights Rd and Central Rd

Arlington Heights police responded about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday of a hit-and-run crash at Arlington Heights Road and Central Road. The hit-and-run driver got out of his vehicle and kicked the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene. The offending vehicle was described as a red Honda SUV. The victim’s car was a gray Nissan Altima. Police were checking license registration provided by a witness, and apprehended the driver. An adult/male was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
