#ad▼

Schaumburg police responded about 2:48 p.m. Monday to a report of a theft of a wallet from woman’s purse near the beginning of the bike path at Spring Creek Circle and Park Trail Court. Police received a report that a male subject took a wallet out of a woman’s purse and ran toward Connelly Park –the park with soccer fields and tennis courts at Azalea Drive and Whitman Drive. The suspect then ran west toward Rutland Court. The woman was sitting on a bench at the beginning of the bike path when the wallet was grabbed out of her purse. The woman apparently attempted to follow the subject south to get a visual on his flight from the scene.

The offender was described as a male/subject with light brownish hair with bangs in his 20’s. No race information was available.
