Hoffman Estates police responded last week to a report of a suspicious incident at Denny’s, 1175 North Roselle Road. Police received a report that a man brought a mannequin ‘like a date’ to sit with him at a table while eating at Denny’s. A waitress was a ‘little freaked out’ when the man leaned over and kissed the mannequin on the lips. The man and mannequin left the restaurant before police arrived.
