Buffalo Grove police received a report of harassment by a new owner of a condo in the 100 block of North Manchester Drive.

A Buffalo Grove resident reported that she has a lease which expires on March 1, 2012 and that she has always paid her rent on time. The resident found that the landlord allowed the residence to go into foreclosure and the new owner is demanding that she move out. Police contacted the new owner who acknowledged going to see the resident. The police then advised the new owner to allow the courts to resolve the lease/eviction issue and that if he continues to contact and harass the resident he would be arrested.

The incident occurred about 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012.
