Head-on Crash on Golf Road, East of New Wilke Rd, Rolling Meadows

Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:22 p.m. Wednesday to a report of crash at 2550 Golf Road. A witness reported that one vehicle crossed the median and hit another vehicle head-on, and then one of the drivers got out of his vehicle and was reported to be lying down behind his vehicle. Police arrived first and reported two SUVs hit head on, and a van was also hit. Police reported the man lying down was conscious and breathing.

At least two people were transported to Northwest Community Hospital. Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics assisted Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics.

Westbound Golf Road was shut down at New Wilke Road about 4:28 p.m. and re-opened about 5:05 p.m. Wednesday.
