Four Arrested at Stonebridge Apartment Lot on West Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, After Suspicious Van Reported

Arlington Heights police responded about 3:04 a.m. Thursday to report of a suspicious van in the 700 block of West Rand Road at the Stonebridge Apartments parking lot. Police received a report that two males in a U-Haul van were driving around the parking lot and checking vehicles. Police were on the scene in about two minutes and were looking for the van. At about 3:08 a.m. a police officer was out with a man on foot, and reported that the van was pulling out onto Chestnut Avenue near Rand Road. A second police unit stopped the van at Rand Road and Chestunut Avenue by about 3:10 a.m.

Four subjects were arrested and transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. One of the subjects was a male/black about 5-years-old. No word on the charges for the suspects. The U-Haul van was towed to a police holding area.
