Theft of Meat from Jewel-Osco on Euclid Avenue, Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect police responded about 11:22 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a theft from Jewel-Osco, 333 East Euclid Avenue. Police received a report that a female subject stole a large amount of meat.

The offending vehicle was described as a brown crossover type SUV that was last seen exiting the area at the driveway between the Steak ‘n’ Shake and the Jewel-Osco, but then was reported exiting by Elmhurst, south of Chase. The vehicle was also described possibly headed near the Sport Authority.

The driver of the SUV was described only as a male wearing a brown jacket. The female was described wearing a gray sweatshirt hoodie.
