Schaumburg police responded about 7:27 a.m. Wednesday to report of a battery in the 300 block of Fallbrook Court. Police received a report that a man entered a residence and tased a 28-year-old woman.
The offender was described as a male/white about 45-years-old, wearing a gray sweatshirt. Police received a report that the man rang the doorbell and said he was her neighbor. When the female resident opened the door, he tased her, threw her down and started to unbutton her clothing. The man ran off through the garage. No direction of travel was available. Police re-classified the case as a home invasion.
Cook County Sheriff’s deputies responded with a K-9 unit and were searching the neighborhood. The residence is a multi-family unit.
The suspect was described as male/white about 45-50-years-old, 5’11” heavy-set at about 270 LBS. The offender was also described as having a large stomach or large abdomen. He was wearing a pullover sweatshirt, jeans, and a dark knit cap.
