Crash at Northwest Highway and Arlington Heights Rd: Looked Bad, Minor Injuries

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday to a personal injury crash at Northwest Highway and Arlington Heights Road.

The crash involved a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with a report of a fire that was extinguished by a passerby that stopped with a fire extinguisher. All victims were reported out of the vehicle. The second vehicle was a silver Mazda 3 with very heavy front end damage.

Apparently minor injuries at the crash.

Eastbound Northwest Highway and southbound Arlington Heights Road were blocked until about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday.
